innanzi ancora oggi in Germania chi fa moda sono cinque gruppi ” Gehringer & Glupp, Horn, Schwabe, Schwichtenberg e Staebe-Seeger.Nel 1963, in questa piccola fotografia Helmut Newton fotografa i designer di Berlino Ovest per la rivista di moda Constanze, per un articolo intitolato: “Chi fa la moda tedesca?” Nella foto sono: Hermann Schwichtenberg, Helmut Gschilm, Heinz Oestergaard, Marianne Lindermann (subentrato per Aribert Schwabe), Ilse Brettschneider, Hermann Lindenstaedt, Detlev Albers, Ernst Kuchling, Uli Richter, Bruno Glupp, Peter Kübler (che ha assunto per Hans Gehringer), Staebe e Hans Seger, HW Claussen, Bettina Werner e Lauer Gretel Wagner.
